ABOUT

STARLIGHT is fanzine for the anime Shoujo☆Kageki Revue Starlight. The zine will feature illustrations of the various revues that take place in the anime, as well as the girls of the Seisho Music Academy. The physical copy of this zine is set to release around March 2020, and will have merch bundles available! All proceeds from our zine will be donated to Rainbow Railroad, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping LGBT+ people escape persecution in their home countries.

FAQ

How many contributors will be accepted? How many of each type?

We will only be accepting artists for this zine. The number of contributors is TBA, but the number should fall between 30 - 40 artists.

Will the zine be canon-based or AU-based? Will the zine feature anime-only content or include game content as well?

This zine will be based on the Revue Starlight anime canon only.

Will there be an even distribution of girls?

The zine will feature one page for each revue, one page for each Seisho girl, and one page for each main ship, as well as a few other pages for artists’ choice pieces.

How will piece themes be allocated to artists?

Piece themes will be allocated to artists based on a ranking system on the artist application form. Artists will rank what pages they would like to illustrate in the order of their preference, as well as write in their own piece idea, if they would like. The moderators will compile the data once applications have closed and select artists accordingly.

Will the contributing artists be posted?

The contributing artists will be posted after the application and selection period has finished, sometime in early December.

Will music/writing be acceptable?

Unfortunately, no. We will only be taking art submissions for this zine.
